Amir Nasr spent the first 20 years of his life in his native city of Tehran in Iran.
In Tehran he learned to play the piano and was accepted at the music high school, where he then devoted himself to the kamanche, a traditional Iranian instrument.
He moved to Moscow in 2000. There he began to study music, focusing on conductor for jazz and pop music.
In 2005 he applied to study music with a major in jazz guitar at the ArtEZ Conservatorium Arnhem in the Netherlands. After graduating in 2010, Amir Nasr moved to Germany, where he is still active today.
